2. Submit the documents required to open your bank account

Once you submit all the information to the bank, you would be asked to upload a copy of your documents that are required to open an account on the website. These documents include identity proof, address proof and a scanned photograph of you. You could submit any government document such as aadhar card, pan card, birth certificate, etc. Submitting a copy of your pan card is compulsory. If you do not have a pan card you could submit ‘Form 16A’ which is a document from the company stating that TDA is deducted from your salary. The bank would then save all these documents in their records and you wouldn’t be allowed to proceed until all the documents are submitted.

3. Complete the video KYC process

The video KYC process is done for all the online bank opening applicants. In this process, the applicant is informed to turn on their camera for the bank’s verification. The applicant must be present in front of the camera and not any other party. This helps the bank to provide you with maximum protection and ensuring that your information is not misused by any other party. This process does not take long and is completed within 2 minutes.

4. The bank would verify all the documents and details submitted by you

The bank would process all the information submitted by you to open a bank account online and send a person from the bank to verify all the original documents within 5-7 working days.

Once all the documents are verified, the bank will open your account. The bank would then courier all the necessary documents such as debit cards, cheque books, etc. via courier to the mentioned address.
